Bio

Daniel started his career in hospitality at Rogano in Glasgow where he worked as both a chef and waiter, before moving to London in 1990 for a two-year spell at L’Escargot. Following a break to go travelling, he returned to Rogano and then to 78 St Vincent. He relocated to London to join Le Caprice as a Chef de Rang before moving to Daphne’s. He joined The Wolseley for its opening in 2003 and worked his way up to Restaurant Operations Manager in 2011. Daniel was appointed General Manager at Colbert in October 2012 and returned to The Wolseley as General Manager in May 2015. In April 2019 Dan moved to to open Soutine in St John’s Wood as General Manager. Daniel is now excited to finally be bringing Manzi’s to life this summer.
