The ambiance was lovely and the table looked very attractive with the flowers, personalized menu etc. The service was excellent and Joao couldn’t have been more thoughtful or attentive (please send him our thanks). It felt that nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and plentiful with a generous feel with the nibbles before hand and petit fours and tea afterwards. Many guests said to me afterwards how much they enjoyed it. The private room was also super. I’ve dined in the main restaurant many times but never the private dining space. The room had a lovely atmosphere and was set up beautifully. A very memorable evening for all the right reasons!”

My guests and I had such a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived through to the end of the event, we were made to feel very welcome and attended to. Our main server, Joao, was an absolute gentleman and he ensured the whole event ran smoothly with frequent communications throughout to ensure we received the best service possible (including ensuring all dietary requirements were catered for). We particularly appreciated him going the extra mile to place the cakes we brought in into the fridge and later helping arrange them beautifully for serving.”

“The lunch was simply wonderful. From beginning to end – faultless. The private room is just beautiful, and the food was delicious. The waiter who looked after us was very attentive and super-efficient.
The lunch was for the PAs of our group and they will be recommending The Wolseley and indeed the private room to our group companies.
We had a wonderful lunch and just wish we could have stayed a bit longer – however we had meetings booked for the rest of the afternoon.”

“The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and the portions were wonderfully generous. The courses were served at an appropriate pace so we did not feel rushed at any point.
The presentation of the room and the table was very elegant, complemented by the brilliant balance of being able to see the rest of the restaurant whilst still having our own private space. Everything was as per the function sheet prepared and agreed on ahead of the event.
Overall, the whole experience lived up to, if not exceeded, the high expectations I had for a highly reputable establishment. I am certain I will be returning to The Wolseley both for smaller dining visits as well as for other larger special events in the future. I have and will continue to recommend The Wolseley to family, friends and colleagues.”
